To ensure maximum safety during the transport of dangerous goods is necessary, except in specific cases, that the packaging is UN-approved. A valid UN certification recognized worldwide consists of an initial test phase and the subsequent production control phase. It must be valid for all modes of transport with which dangerous goods can be shipped (ADR, RID, ADN, IMDG, and ICAO-TI / IATA).
